Okay, sorta long post warning...

So I've jumped back into the online ring world for the past two weeks on PS with an initial deposit of $60. Goofed around a little with stud (very high variance for grinding, online even more so) the first couple of days and now have gotten serious (last 7 days) with the low level LHE full ring. My initial goal is to grind out the full deposit match and collect the VIP rewards as they come and now am close to my first $10 match (quite a feat especially at .02-.04 no fold'em hold'em). I am winning over the first 3k hands at this level, granted not killing, but have a firm grip on the level of play and comfortable grinding at this level...so basically ready to move up.

So here's the question (warned you it was sorta long...), since PS lets you do 3 deposits within 90 days for a match and the added deposits would pad the BR to move up in order to collect more rewards etc..(better rewarded for time, faster match) faster and add to bonus match possibilities, or would you just keep grinding at current level and purchase Poker Tracker with current additional money?

So its a capital outlay question regarding productivity increase. Is the outlay for the capital equipment (PT3) going to increase productivity to the level that bonus match grinding (free money) is actually going to cost me money in long run since the time variable is finite. Right now, I'm more inclined to keep grinding (improve/honing patience, tilt control and other personal intangibles) due to the fact that my game at these lower levels is very solid and my game play is getting rewarded.

Just trying to tap into some other experiences here in order to possibly accelerate my evolutionary process.

Thanks in advance for input.

You don't need PT3 yet imo but remember they do offer a free 60-day trial that you could use while you're clearing your bonus.

I agree w/ the above poster. Clear your bonus and see what you want to do with your BR
