| Assuming cash games and that you're new to poker, and are playing NL holdem: Stop limping. Never play with a stack less than 100bb. Stop calling so much pre-flop. Start stacking more lightly when the pot is big relative to the stacks. Improve your table selection. Download Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker 3, download pokerstove (the latter is free). Stop set mining out of position and in 3bet pots. Pay way more attention to position that you already do. Play more hands against the fish, and fewer against regs. Use more conservative bankroll management. Just to rattle a few points off of the top of my head. |

| What games are you playing? MTT? STT? SNG? Cash games? The more info on what kind of game your playing and the stakes is pretty important for me to be able to help ya more in depth but.... Bankroll Management (Look at your money as the amount of buy-ins) Watch a table for 15-20 hands before you dive into it Stay active on this site to learn more Mess around on freerolls to get the gist of the action and what goes on. Freerolls are offered pretty much all day everyday on Full tilt and Pokerstars. Have fun and dont get too upset when someone draws out on you |
