| Drag The Bar: Highly recommended! After I finished a free trial on the Deuces Cracked site, I've just started the CC 14-day free trial on DTB. I am very impressed with DTB. I like it much more than DC because DTB seems to have a wider range of videos that suit what I play (lower limits, MTT & cash). I've watched several instructors (QTip, Zerosum79--a DC metro neighbor!) and love their teaching style and quality of the videos. I've started looking at the forums and the responsiveness from the instructors is quick and professional. In short, I highly recommend that you take advantage of the free trial. I can already see after one day that I'll be signing up for a membership because there is so much good content and I've already learned some strategies that will really improve my game (I didn't feel this way at all when I watched the DC videos--YMMV). I do have a general comment about how the videos are run and I'm curious as to what others think: As a newer player watching videos, I find multi-tabling to be very distracting. I'm not always aware of which table an instructor is referring to and I find it harder to follow the strategy tips when I'm shifting my focus from table to table. I realize that a single table provides less opportunities for "teachable moments" but I'd love to see more beginner videos with either single tables or only two tables and then detailed strategy content can be addressed between hands. More than 2 tables is difficult for anyone not used to multi-tabling (which I assume is most newer players). Or perhaps there has to be some way that the table under discussion (or the cursor) can be highlighted better. I'm cross-posting here and at DTB so please forgive the repeated post! |

| Glad you took advantage of the trial and like what you found! I too am very comnfortable over there - they have some great coaches who are also very friendly and helpful in the forum. I have been fortunate enough to meet some of them in real life as well - and what you see there is genuine and is just how they are when you meet them. I am sure they will appreciate your feedback and suggestions! |
