Is this 'tournament' play? fwiw I'm always betting here in this spot & am actually praying that villain has plans for check-raising me.. as I'd be happy to get it in. |

| My bad I didn't mention it's cash games. Thing with that hand is that I can't see how I'm going to get value from it. We have so many outs for a monster that I'm quite happy to just ship it, but he didn't cbet what is he going to call with here? Betting just to grab the dead-money is an option though... inducing a bluff from a maniac is not that hard... but passive players, is it worth it to make a small bet hoping he has a K or a underpair? |

| Hand 1: 100% betting here. Btw, we should be very happy with a fold on the flop since we have 8 high, iow, no showdown value. We dont mind a call though because our draw is huge and we have position. Hand 2: As a default I always bet my value hands. Building a pot on the flop means a bigger pot to be won on the river. If they fold then oh well. |

| re: Doubts regarding flop play poker Ya, opps. Didnt see that you meant OOP. If the guy is a passive station with low c bet stats then Ill bet but if they're a passive nit it might be fine to check on that board since it is super dry. Deffo have to bet any turn if villain checks behind tho. |
