No problem. I saw it on Twitter and bounced. I had a trial membership a few months back, but didn't really take advantage of it.

Can a member of DC recommend some good authors/videos for SNG players? Or is the site mostly for cash players?

AMT, bones and vandweller look to be the only three really who have videos under the SnG/MTT section.

Are there any MTT/SNG vids. worth watching? I know the site is obv. geared towards cash game & have heard great reviews... but I'm interested in checking out Tournament play. Also found it difficult to navigate the site. Any links to vids. for me anyone??

Per AH's suggestion, I'm in the process of watching the Last Man Standing series by AMT. It's designed for SNG's, both single-table and multi-table SNG's. I haven't checked out any videos for larger MTT's yet, but maybe one of the other coaches AH mentioned might have some good videos.

Omg the best of seven series is so bad. First of all, they label a video "razz" but then go and play all seven games at once. Most people want to learn things about just one game at a time, so that's pretty unhelpful. Then on top of that, they make a ton of errors in the stud games, so I'm not sure how much I should trust their play on the other games.

The Joe Tall & Ceegee videos have been fairly good though.

There have been a couple vids that I have watched in the past(both from DC and others as well) where I have seen things that I know are wrong or where they made a very stupid move into the wrong type of player. I guess the only thing I could say is that no one plays perfect poker? I don't know, lol. Maybe they had some other reason for making those plays that they didn't talk about or something. I will say it doesn't make much sense to do a 7-game, but instead to do them separate...

Yeah, that was my main issue with the video. The razz vid starts out with dansasmack playing one table of triple draw in the 8-game rotation, which is still 2 games away from Razz.

Then in the stud rounds I see them fold a hand like 3Q_3 when a player raises a seven door card three handed. They were debating between calling and folding, when raising is the correct play according to Sklansky. That particular mistake sent me over the edge, but I remember a few others.

Oh, and someone else pointed me to the dogishead HU series - the first video is excellent and applies to all poker games (even if it's long), talks tons about how to handread/learn poker

i did the free week long trial last month and forgot to unsubscribe so i've had DC for a bit now. some really good vids and some are meh. anyways, i saw they are offering a year long subscription for $200(it was $29 for 1 month).

my question is... sly, im looking to you cause you seem to know quite a bit about it but anyone can give feedback

is it worth it? are there enough "goods" there to make it worth a whole year?

Personally, imo, 1 year is too much. I did the 6 month discount (which isn't a huge discount like the 1 year), but don't expect the video content to be that interesting a couple of months from now unless I expand my game/format selection (limit, HU, etc.). I've been there for 3 months now, though, and there's still a lot of stuff that I'd like to watch, and they do add good content regularly (prob a good vid on a game I'm interested in every week).

This is a bit off-topic as I'm not familiar with DC but do know that one 'some' other sites there is benefit to having a longer term membership imo, as one can get the oppurtunity to network with some of the coaches/other members & make some excellent contacts.
