It's a very non-standard read for a $2 SnG player too, which is what worries me. I think we'll get called too often for it to work, even though it worked in this spot, and we're better off just folding preflop. |

| Now... because I said I'd do this, attached are some more full-game histories if anyone's interested in having a look and providing some feedback it'd be much appreciated. There's three games in there, please don't anyone feel obliged to actually look at all three. I feel like I'm playing better than I was this time last month when I posted some full games, but at the same time I know there's more than a few hands that I played badly in here. Any thoughts or comments appreciated, and as always happy to return the favour for people if they're interested. I played all three tables at the same time and to the best of my knowledge I'd never played with any of the other players before (I definitely didn't have any notes on them at any rate). |

| Once I got my BR up to a more comfortable level, I made the transition back to Double or Nothing SnG's. My ROI over the last 15 is 72%, which I am thrilled about when you consider rake, etc. Here is my overall graph for the past 2.5 weeks. |

| ^^^ - yea - you guys go make some suggestions in Marginal's thread please. It is a good opportunity for us to have some sng strategy discussions. I have some new sng books to read: Secrets of Sit'n'gos - Phil Shaw Heads Up No Limit Holdem - Collin Moshman How To Beat Sng Poker Tournaments - Neil Timothy Has anyone read any of these? |

| December has been a good month for me. After starting out with $11 in my BR and grinding out the micro SnG's in all formats (45 man, Heads Up, DoN, 10 Man), I was able to grind out a BR that allowed me to safely play DoN's exclusively within my BR. Once I was able to do that, the DoN's have become a cash cow for me. Since i'm not likely to play anymore today, here are my December results. $136 profit. I look forward to setting some goals for January and having another good month at the tables in the new year. |

Bankroll -$33.93 2&3 Table SNGs, ITM 42% ROI131.93 1 Table SNGs , ITM 32.5% ROI -19.52 Ran way below expectations in the 1 table SNGs at FTP while chasing the bonus and only cleared a portion of it. I am glad to be back at PS playing the 2&3 table SNGs now. Christmas was much busier than I expected so I failed to hit my quantity targets. Happy New Year everyone. |

Shaw's book is alright, but I prefer Moshman's. Moshman's HU book is also excellent, but unless you're planning on moving to deep stack HU play (ring or SnG) you can put that on the shelf for a bit. I'd add Kill Everyone to your list before those. Tysen Streib's stuff in section 2 is a veritable gold mine of information for tourney players. |

Time for me to close December SNG exercise Well that month has been great for me. -On $ sites (FT and Everest) : 509 SNG 9 and 10 players played (5.5R, 6.5T and 7.5ST on FT and 5.5, 11 and 12 on Everest (with a medley of Turbos, regulars and DON) 4.8% ROI for 162.1$ profit : EV is at 7.7% for 260.19 so I have my potential profits cut by around 40% but I won't complain - On € sites I found a real fishy site on Boos Media network which leads me to a 10.6% ROI and 25.7€ won on 58 3.3 and 5.5€ SNGs. Nicer I'm exactly on EVs prediction. More than anything I've proved myself I can be a winner in each STT SNG format I played (hmmm except 6.5T on FT where I miserably failed) Adding to that ITMs in the only 2 MTT I've played this month and that became a +400 $ month which is always nice |

| Just revisiting the goals for December now that it's finished for me: 1 - Play lots. At least 150 STTs. Close but not quite - 140ish 2 - Post another couple of complete games for analysis, if people are willing to look at them again for me. Done, above 3 - *shrugs* Cleared this one easy, IMO 4 - Profit. Done, though not as big a one as I might've liked: $16.40 Had a bit of a downswing the last couple of days of the month which was unfortunate. But I feel like I'm playing better and that's the important thing. |

I've been hearing nothing but good things about this. I guess I'll have to break down and read this. I have taken a little break from poker but plan on playing more next year. Good luck all and happy new year. |
