| I aggree. I was talking to you about this the other day. Im trying to play pots with this in mind and am far more willing to get my money in than I was before looking at it this way. I do find myself calling bets where the villian has probably hit the river .. i kind of feel that I know that he has hit.. but you cant get most of your stack in and then fold to a small bet. The flip side is that the pots I am winning are usually much bigger and the pots I loose are relitively small. The table image seems better too.. even if I loose a stack.. i feel that people seem less willing to bluff at me earlier on. Today i put in 6 consecutive preflop raises and each was folded round to me. I lost two stacks playing the low end of a high straight.. but I also won 2 stacks back hitting trips on the flop and just generally making people fold.. so today Ijust broke even.. yesterday I won 3 buyins in about 2 hrs. |

| Seems like a good idea to understand. I've been trying to read up on strategy for a few years now. Why don't other people crystalize the issue as well as you explained. Is this only good for ring games or could it be applied to tournament poker? |
