| For MTTs your supposed to have 50 times the buy-in and sngs 20 times the buy-in as a general rule. For rebuy tournaments you need to include a rebuy and an add-on as part of your buy-in. Also, make sure that you have the time for the tournament your going to choose. If you don't then your probablly going to bust out on a stupid hand. Also, for large MTTs you really need to be patient you can easily go on runs of an half an hour or more where you don't get a playable hand. That doesn't mean that you should play any hand with an Ace or anything. Patience, patience, patience, it's the key to tournament play. |

| patience is the most important part of any kind of poker. in tournaments tho you need to take alot more risks. in order to make any sort of money that is worth the time commitment you need to make it somewhat deep. you do this by taking risks when the blinds are getting a little high. if you have say 20 BB and there is an all in when ur on a draw, call. |
