| Cbet more on wet boards? I just saw a HU vid that said to cbet more on wet boards and less on dry boards. I thought it was the other way around? Don't you want to bet on the board that is least likely hit your opponent? Yea ok sure a thinking opponent will fold less on a dry board if they know you're cbetting with air, but still in general isn't dry better? |

Wet boards are more coordinated and therefore you will get peeled by all sorts of draws which is why you want to make your bets bigger. I typically bet 2/3 to 3/4 pot on dry boards and closer to pot on wet boards but this also really depends on opponents. Ex. Against a fish who will never fold, we will bet our value hands big regardless of board texture. |
