| Cash tables I have read a lot about SNG's here, is there a benefit to playing these vs just playing at cash tables. Are SNG's an all or nothing deal, if so It seems to me that it would be more beneficial to play at a cash table for a bit and if things aren't going your way simply leaving while there is still something in your account and either joining another table or waiting till the emotion of having a bad game fades and play more clear headed another day. I may be misunderstanding something here, and pardon my ignorance if the above statement doesn't make sense. Your comments are greatly appreciated. And If there is already a similar thread I apologize I had a browse but didn't see one. Cheers, Gareth |

I wouldn't say there is any benefit to playing SnGs over cash, it really comes down to what you prefer. But most people will tell you that you can make a lot more grinding ring. |

| One benefit of a SNG is that you're only losing a set amount... your buyin. Alot of newer players will start out with SNG's (usually 9plyr. at first). It doesn't take that long to learn basic SNG strategy play (some stick with it & then also play MTTs.... comes down to a matter of preference). I personally prefer tournament play, MTT & SNG but play a bit of everything... focus is on tournament play though. |
