Cards being the same suit?

I just don't know how to play them. I usually bet out when I have a draw but I only end up getting raised at the turn and folding.

What? I can't really think of a question that can be more vague than that. What kind of suited cards are you talking about here? AKs, sure that is a great hand and there's a lot you can do 72H, not so much. If you are talking about suited connectors that may be a bit easier to talk about. We need a lot more to go on if you want any kind of answer.

What dont you know about how to play them? You need to give as much info in your original post as possible so people can read it and understand what it is you need help with.

Suited connectors are implied odds hands and should only be played when stacks are deep (relative to the blinds). In general, you want to just muck them when you brick the flop. If you take a bet flop, bet turn line and get raised, you will get paid off big when you hit. Again, stacks need to be deep for this to apply. Also, if someone calls you on the flop and raises the turn, it generally means you ran into a big hand.

As has been said, the "correct" way to play them is very scenario/game dependent and more specifics are necessary.

Read/study up on them, when to play them and why one plays them. There are plenty of articles out there, even on this site than can asssit you.

i good rule of thumb is to only play them in LP. with deep stacks and have 2 people in the pot before you get in. if you call a raise you got to make sure its not a big one and you and the raiser(and caller(s)) have a lot of chips behind. if it gets checked to you you should most likely take the free card. other times when you dont have position you can bet out around 2/3 the pot and try to take it down there. i tend to fold those KTs hands but will play suited aces. if i'm drawing to a flush i want it to be the nutz. if i have smaller SCs i really only try to get money in when a backdoor the flush. otherwize i'm careful of higher flushes. of coarse if i flop the flush i'm willing to go broke there on the flop with it.
