| cant do cash games for some reason hey, i started with the freerolls on full tilt and build my bank roll up to $50 so far. it started when i won $15 in a freeroll then iv just been playing the $2 9 player SnG's and doing well in them. at first i was doing 1 table at a time then started 4 and took a little hit in my bankroll, but now i got used to it and am at a all time high of 50. but i cannot do the 1/2c NLHE cash games well. maybe because there are a lot of bad people there or maybe im missing something. do i change my strategy from SnG's for cash games? someone help |

| In cash games you are deep stacked. That means you need a better hand to justify going all in. Hands like small pairs have increased value because when you hit your set vs a nit's overpair or TPTK, you are going to win a big pot compared to what it cost you to see the flop. But other than playing different, in ring games you get to pick where you sit, and you can leave any time. So you table and seat selection is very important. Sit at good tables, and leave when the table dries up. Or even switch seats if a better seat at a good table opens up. |
