BEST MICRO STAKES GAME TO BUILD A BANKROLL? I have been playing on pokerstars for a couple weeks now and not really built my bankroll at all. I started at 100.00, i have went up to 130 and down to as low as 80. Right now i am at 95. I have had some success at 3.40 9-man turbo Sngs but i stopped playing those. as of now i am playing the 1.10 turbo 90-man sngs. I have not had much success at these but i am just waiting for a couple deep finishes to get a bankroll boost. The main reason i am playing the 1.10 90 man's is because they are filled with fish and pretty easy to get deep into. should i go back to 3.40 9-man turbos or just keep grinding and hope to make it deep into a couple final tables?

You should stay at the 1.10's. The 3.40's not only have a higher rake, but they are also over your BRM needs. With the $3.40's, you only have about 30 Buy-Ins, whereas with the $1.10's you have about 90. 30 Buy-ins for SnG's is nowhere near enough to cover the variance and downswings. You also might want to think about playing some 2NL ring if you're wanting to play even more inside proper BRM and if you're open to playing some cash games.

"It Depends" Do you know how to play? If so & if I were you, I'd try playing the $3-27plyr. 'reg' speed SNG's. Play 10 of them & if you're not having succes.... umm... read more. Typically the 27's ($5) have some really bad players in them 'BUT' they also have a handful of players who are profitting quite alot from them (with a much higher ROI% than the regs. in the 9plyr). When my bankroll is low on a site this is what I'll grind for a bit (27's... & some 45's). The reg. 45's don't seem to fill up very quickly on Stars though as it seems the large majority are playing the Turbos (which personally I dont like as they're a huge shovefest real early on).

Alright i think i'll try out the 27 mans at stars. I usually do the turbos just because they take a lot less time, and i find that inexperienced players usually make a lot more mistakes when faced with higher blinds and in push/fold mode. Do you think my bankroll of around 100 dollars will support 2 or 3 dollar 27 man sngs?
