re: Beginning Bankroll Management poker there r tons of threads on BR mgmt.. why still create new thread? but to help you, i would say 30 full buy in. which means if u have $900 = $30*30buy in. so u shld be playing NL30. if u cnt find NL30, den drop the stakes dwn to play NL25. until u reach to next 30 buyin level, then u up the limit..

normally if your just begining, i wouldnt go over a 5.50 cent tournament.. if your bank roll is 55 dollars.. 5.50 is the most u could use at 1 time to have a successful brm plan... u just want to have the highest profit margin possible.. dont enter tournaments that u will have fear of taking a big hit..

I think I have done well on Pokerstars. After some crazy bad beats, I was down to $0 in my account. Played a 20FPP tourney and won $2. I have been playing all $1 tourneys and am up to almost $40...So yes remember the 5% cash game and 2% MTT and SNG rule.

Rebuys I say are actually more than there buy in. I figure I am going to rebuy once right away and if I make it to the add on stage I am going to add on. For instance the 50cent+10cent rebuy satellites on FTP are actually going to cost $1.60 not just 60cents. $1 rebuy really $3, etc.

I take a riskier approach, I'd say 10 buy ins (10%) if you feel comfortable. Frankly, there's so little money to be made at the micro-micro stakes that if you deposited $100 and started playing .05/.02 it would take you an eternity to double up...You would have to win like 100 pots. If you put in a lower buy in, and actually want to earn some money, you're going to have to go riskier on the buy ins. If you don't have confidence in your abilities then ignore this advice.

re: Beginning Bankroll Management poker ^^^^^^^ I've doubled up at 5nl a few times after withdrawing and it really doesn't take 'an eternity' unless you play like 2 hands per day or something lol, bout 10k-15k hands it should take you to make $100 at 5nl
