BB rasing SB when all others folded

What is the bets way to handle the situation where you are in the SB and have a decent hand and want to play it, but you know, if you just call the BB is going to raise any 2 cards.

Is it best to raise before he has the chance to? Reraise after he raises? Just call his reraise? Play it safe and just fold?

Depends on the villian. If the BB will raise any ATC that you call with but fold to resistance I would call and then 3-bet his raise. If he folds to much to raises, raise.

You have to trust your cards. If you have a good han you should raise it te BB. The level of raise depends ona lot of things but raise. If you raise and he calls then you see the flop. and play from there. If h raises your raise you need to think it through and decide what to do from there. An aful lot depends on what you know of the BB.

If you have a decent hand and you limp in, if the BB raises you, you should move all in..

But normally they will fold if you raise them preflop..

Since you are in SB, he is assuming you are playing ATC and doesnt want you to hit with junk. So there are 2 ways you can play this.

1. Raise to show you have some strength and then make a c-bet to still show your strength.

2. limp and then reraise him to show your strength and take it down there so you gain some respect from him

You should play a tight range of hands as the SB. If you get a hand in this range you should raise before he gets the chance. He might fold and you steal his blind, or he might call and you will probably have a better hand at that point if he is playing any 2. If he reraises you, you will need to have a good read if he's just trying to be super aggressive with any 2 cards or the squirrel finally found his nut. (meaning he has a decent hand)

If you have a decent hand you should act aggressively and raise.

If he always calls or reraises your raise. You may want to try for a call reraise with a strong hand to frighten him off, or win the pot with the continuation bet on the flop. (assuming the board isn't threatening)

i think the best way to play this(assuming u have a decent hand) wait for him to raise and then reraise or move all in depending on your stack....this will win u some respect
