bankroll management

a couple months ago i deposited $50 twice on fulltilt. my bankroll stayed around the $50-100 mark for about a month playing on micro ring games. i won some moving up to higher stakes, and eventually lost it at the higher stakes. i will soon be making another deposit most likely at pokerstars and would like to know any advice on how to build a small bankroll from around $20-50. should i be playing tourneys, sngs or keep playing micros? are there any techniques that show better results?

SNG's would be my preference .......

GOOD Advice, and don't do what i am going to do, and that is move up in limit from .02/.04 to .05/.10....,,,,,,,, If i lose the first bit i go in with, i will go back to .02/.04....
I need to get some points, thats why....

you should only buy in to ring games with about ten percent of your roll max...and buy in to tourneys with about the same...it might be even smaller ...but generally common =sense prevails if you got 50 stick to dollar tourneys and micro cash games ..............I had 50 last month and i got crazy after a bad loss in the dailly dollar after running deep and getting knocked out in 100 somthing and just started buying in to whatever tourney 2 dollar mmt 3 dollar mmt then after a few hrs on tilt i bledd over 15 bucks for no reason ....but i also with good roll managment two month ago went from 7 to 50 ...buying into micro ring games for the min 40 cents and id flipp it to three bucks and when i hit over three i simply left and swithched tables and did it again ....and play freerolls private freerolls ...Online forum challenge is a good tourney that comes once a month ... i cashed high and got an extra 15 ......but please dont get tilted like me and make the same mistake when u lose .....just breathe walk away and play anothur day ...cuz now i was back to 7 from 50 and am climbing back up and am at 10 .....and with this roll its 40 cent buy in ring games and freerolls for me no more dailly dollar till i get over twenty again...Oh and the 1000 guarantee for a dime is good i play tht everyday..just dont do klike me and shove on a straight draw with a 25 g stack with 240 players left....lol i can be a donk somtimes....

Here is how I have avoided any more deposits for almost 2 years.

Stay with freerolls, and play money games. I know this isn't a happy thought, but it satisfies the need.

Use your deposits ONLY in CC games. All of our site sponsored games are money added. This was so important to me, that I have almost forgot. 2 years ago the money added was larger, and made it a bit easier, but even today I think all our games are $100 added.

The only time since I first deposited that I had to deposit again was at a new site where I had to deposit to withdraw. The instant I knew the deposit was good, I withdrew it and a very nice profit from those freerolls and CC games.

CC is not the only site that does money added games, but I'm thinking we are still a great value.

Make sure you have your tight game figured out. The loose game we all are looking for is an elusive beast without a saddle. I find I have to revert to my tight game often, and think it is pretty solid.

I prefer 5 % bankroll strategy, that means if you have 100$, you play only SnG or MMT with 5$ buy-in + rake.
If you want to increase your bankroll, than play "Double or nothing" SnG, it`s easy way to rise your bankroll.
