yeah... sorry man but this is terrible the whole way down starting with deciding to play 26 at all preflop.

I'm not even sure I have much to add... you are going to lose your money here many, many, MANY more times than you win and the times you win will not make up for the times you don't.

I agree with Ty, however, poker can get boring at times, and an occasional play like this can spice things up a whole bunch.

Problem is that after one success playing like this you reinforce a potentially disastrous behavior. You probably shortly after this found yourself playing a wide variety of silly cards, and wondering to yourself 'WTF am I doing?'

However, the bluff up front, is not so bad, and the continuing pressure was ok. In this case you were probably rewarded for your agressiveness, but in the long haul, as Tygran says, you will not profit starting with 62 off.

Stats are probably small sample, don't know of anyone who can consistently go to showdown 40% and win 75% with a VP$IP of 19%.

But at these limits I think you got too fancy.

1. You're 3 off the button with limpers, I'd either limp or fold with 36s.

2. There are 3 opponents, not sure about the cbet. The one thing going for you is the gut shot, but I'm not sure I'd bet here into 3 opponents. But this part isn't horrible, especially because of the low flop.

3. What do you put your opponents on? The turn came a 9, giving anyone with top pair before trips. And then you overbet? Why do you bet over pot here? This just isn't a good card to be double barreling on, especially given the probability that one of the callers has the 9. If it were HU postflop I may continue here just because he could easily have AK or something. But on the other hand are most players at this limit folding AK with another card to come?

4. Perfect river for you, get the money in, good job. He probably had a 9, and unless he had 93, 94, or 95, you won the pot. Although I guess he could have 33 or 44 here as well.

I like the bet on the river.

I just don't like how you got to that point.

Trying to steal with 6/2 with two early position limpers/idiots is bad.

With $.41 in the pot and a gut-shot you bet $.20 against people who like to call, giving them better than 2:1 on their money. Of course they're going to call.

The turn: $1.01 in the pot, your only clean out (barring a full house or bigger straight... which is possible with these calling machines) is probably a 5. So you are 8% to win. You bet $1.04 to win $5.70'ish (assuming he'll call an all-in on the river if you hit). IE, you're getting about 1:5 on your money when your chances of winning are worse than 1:10.
