| amazing run against calling station Had this guy on my right who pretty much limped into every hand preflop. I raised his limp and went against him h2h 6 times, with the exception of one hand where he folded the turn when I held AA, he beat me everytime. He flopped trips twice (8s and 9s), hit a 4 card flush on the turn once, and hit a str on the river twice. The amazing thing was, he only raised that 4card flush hand! He checked/called every other street on the other hands. So I was able to check down and lost just one bet post flop. I just could not beat him. On the last hand after which I finally gave up, I actually flopped a nut str (I had AJ). The turn came 9 and river a J, making the board a K high str. So I shoved. He had A7... The first time for everything. I've never had a run like this against the same guy and yet didn't lose much. |
