| you want to sit ahead of them so you can see where they are in action. I love to slow play and smooth call and aggressive player. Though soemtimes you get caught slipping, mostly though just sitting ahead of them elimnates alot of hassel becuase they can determine for you exactly how you play your hand and sometimes its best they aggressively bet you off a meduim top hand and make you only settle for the best! |

| It's preferable to have the loose aggressive players on your right so they act before you do. While you can nit up and wait for big hands, that's not necessarily the best course. Loose players play lots of hands, which means they have wide ranges. The power of position means that when you have it, it's profitable to play a wide range as well, at least when you can isolate them in two-way pots. This does mean you'll lose more pots than if you nit up. However, you'll win more too, and it's the balance that matters. Plus the more you wait, the greater the chances that the LAG will lose his money to someone else. |

| re: Aggressive players poker agg players will always outplay a non agg player. there ranges are so wide and you cant really put them on a hand. also you wait for a hand like AK and they call ur raise with like a 10 9 sooted, flop A 9 10 and thats where they get ya . you just have to always see where your at with a reraise and see how they proceed? i have learned that these days you can not just play tight because most young players have changed the game. any 2 will do these days ! |

As for the example, when you play AK vs T9s, especially in position, you won't win every hand, but unless you have major leaks in your game, you will make a nice profit over a meaningful sample size. And while it's hard to fault re-raising the flop, it's certainly not the only possible choice. If you're ahead with your TPTK, which you are against a large majority of his wide range, particularly if he's firing all his air, which is likely since he is aggro after all, you want to try to get him to put more money in the pot rather than to fold him out. |

| When I'm in a hand I'm very aggressive. I find that the person that takes me down just soft plays me to the river, then pounces. Mainly because I have no problem firing a third barrel. A major advantage to the holder of the nutz. I've finally started seeing the cues and am able to put on the brakes. But I gotta tell ya, it's hard for an aggressive player to change gears. Specially if they think they're ahead in the hand. A leak made specifically for the trapper. |

Give me a loose passive calling station or a nitty passive player any day over an aggro player. You can make these guys call big or fold to death all day. AF less than 1 you can pretty classify as calling station. Aggressive frequency may e better to define a passive nit |

| The LAGs present a problem if you are on a particularly cold stretch. If you keep missing the board. Eventually you make a mistake like going crazy with TT/JJ. However, if you do hit a hand, these guys are easy. Also, I would pay attention to whether he slows down if you represent you have something. How crazy aggro he is determines whether you can resteal or should just let him keep firing. |

| Wait for a hand...check raise...hopefully other players are calling this guy down so you can see some of his holdings and just how LAG he is. The micros can be tough, there is a lot of loose and crazy play. I'm always amazed how a ton of players at that level play AK like AA. The mental cases can hurt you in the short run if they get lucky but if you keep your head screwed on right and don't tilt good solid poker will win the day. Grinding isn't glamorous but its what wins in the long run. |
