| 200K Double Duece Full Tilt Hello everyone...I qualified through a sat to the Double Duece. I was wondering if anyone had resources, sites, or advice other than what's on this forum. I've read the strategy articles for MTT and I employ them from this site but I was wondering if there is anything more specific out there or your own experiences. I've been in big freerolls before with about 9000+ players and I'm sure I can cash with what I know and a little luck but anything extra would be much appreciated. I'm sure the quality of players will be much better for this than the sattelite. |

| I would say play mostly only premium hands during the first couple levels, probably til first break, and play them aggressively, because nothing sucks more than when your Aces get taken down by some dueche with unsuited connectors because you didn't raise enough. Also, if the table folds around to you in late position, you can try to steal the blinds every now and then, just don't get too carried away. Once the tournament gets down to about half of the original entrants, gameplay should slow down a bit and people with become more serious about the game, and you should be able to take her down like you did the CC freeroll last week. | re: 200K Double Duece Full Tilt poker Just play a solid tight game the first hour until you have good reads on all the opponents at your table. Don't play hands out of position, be concious of your bet sizes and your opponents bet sizing. And just hope you can run goot . |

| Thanks for the advice guys. I'm actually trying to follow Chris Ferguson's advice on BR Management. I helped a lot when I got that CC win. I'm up to $92 now. Well if I get to the final table it'll help my own quest to get to 10K on Sunday . Good luck with your personal challenge Hamm, I need to start a blog like that, the website looks clean. We should trade stats on our quest. I might be cheating a little though. I wanted to make an account for the wife...she used to use mine sometimes..mostly play money. So I deposited $40 in my account and then transferred $40+20 to her so she could play. Could have used that $20 now though to help me get past the 5NL stage. But now I'm making a little money from the deposit bonus so I'll get an extra $40 boost. |
