If it was me, and I don't think the 3 guys behind me will raise, then I will just fold or call. If it's just one guy who raises preflop a lot in the pot in front of me, I wouldn't mind 3 betting. But with 2 guys already in, I'd rather see the flop as cheaply as I can and hope to hit a big one. I would have raised the turn though. You don't want that 4th heart hitting the board for free.

no problem in your play. speculative hand + position + multiway pot = +$EV like blueskies said a reraise on the turn was in order, for proper odds denial. On turn i'd of been dreaming for 5h on river, and wishing my opp had Ah- but they cant always be that good.

re: 10nl suited one gapper poker U have flopped flush-draw, which will becoming flush in 50% of spots. And u have to call 0,9/(1,35+0,9)=0,4 => pot-odds give you 1 to 2,5. That's good for profitable call, 'coz for EV=0 u need to have 1 to 2, so 0,5 of odds it's you real profit.

I think a raise is going to be a very strong play here on the flop. We have no reads on anyone, but what we're seeing here is a LP player make a bet on the flop after the PF aggressor didn't c-bet. That could be a lot of different hands that may not be able to stand up against a raise. As others have said, raise the turn. Not so much about not letting a river heart come up (that's a pretty small consideration), but more importantly to chunk up your stack more efficiently. You want to get all-in with your hand. By calling, you leave about $10.50 left on the river and less than a $6 pot. Click it back or something on the turn will give you like a $9 pot on the river with more like $7 left in the stacks. This is a much easier way to get it in. |

For me I dont like a call here because there are so few hads that I will be happy with when the flop comes down. If I flop a flush will I be happy that my flush is 8 high? Flopping or even making a straight here is not desirable as there will agian be much higher hands that will have me dominated. Now I would consider KJs from this spot and maybe even QT but not 86. especially with no reads. I would also consider a re raise if I was gonna try to bluff at it rather than a call. But you are still CO here and not the button.
