Very interesting threads with great advices on strategies to tackle 100k new player qualifier on Bovada has been posted in this forum. I took a shot at it and I did everything opposite. It is not like I do not comprehend whats written. I'm unable to bring the A game at the table at the right moment. The feeling is terrible, brings out the 4 year old in me. Of the numerous things I didn't do right are:.... not resting well, was thinking of money when playing, with JKo mid-position called a raise of 3.5 Big blinds (I had about 75 BB to start with), etc.
how to be in the moment when at the table? this is probably the leading cause of failure. could any of you please guide me how do I train being in the moment during a game. when I'm out of the pot, the advice I've read here is to stay focused whether you're involved in the pot or not. I'm having a tough time staying focused even during my hands. Do you have a recital, mantra, secret poker-hymns??
