What's Uncleared Deposits? I was just wondering what Uncleared Deposits were. I deposited $30 into Pokerstars and now have about 250. It says I have an uncleared deposit of $30 and I can only withdraw $210. Can someone please explain this to me?

I believe Stars sets a 10 day clearance period for echecks. They do this regardless of whether they have received it or not so it just means that you deposited less than 10 days ago. The $30 isn't "yours" to withdraw until the clearance period is over. @ freakygurl I agree with you. I have no idea why they need your SIN/SSN, but i just figured so many thousands of ppl had done it the risk is probably pretty small. I think it is safe to assume it is simply a confirmation of your identity/perhaps required for processing. I searched anything i could find to see of SIN leaks from depositing with echecks but couldn't find anything so I personally decided depositing using echecks would be fine. I figure if somebody is able to hack into pokerstars data files, they would be more likely to focus on accounts rather than trying to pull off some indentity fraud.

re: What's Uncleared Deposits? poker Thanks Feitr. Fun playin with you once again lol. @Freakygurl, it's completely safe. Actually, it only makes it more secure. If someone was to steal your credit card, they would be able to use it and deposit, but if b/c you need your S/S#, the criminal would also need that to verify that it's you that's using your card. Just benefits you and I'm 100% sure they don't give it out to anyone for any price.
