Walmart visa debit cards

the pre-paid walmart debit cards... do they work at pokerstars or Fulltilt? lemme know. thanks.

I got a verizon visa debt card in themail for signing up for verizon phone service and used that card wich had 100$ on it to sign up at fulltilt, but it only let me sign up for 50 max the first time so u might want to check in to prepaid debt cards from visa. Hope it works for u.

I had one from AT&T and it would not work.

the card from walmart does not work. it has nothing to do with being linked to walmart. the card is processed through a greendot authorized bank. and in the t&c it says in bold letters that it can not be used for online gambling purposes. the card you need to look for is an allaccess visa or mastercard. they work the best and can be found at a number of places. go to www.allaccessgift.com to find a retailer near you.

The WalMart gift card I bought was not the greendot one - but neither of them work anyway.

Evidently the allaccess gift cards are easy to find in some areas - but definitely not all - like mine. And don't trust their website - they have had the same place listed near me for almost 2 years and that place does not now nor have they ever carried them.

dakota is there any speedway gas stations around you anywhere? there where i always bought my cards at. they are the mastercards but they still work.

I use a walmart/greendot card and it works just fine on FT. I've deposited two or three times with it already.

The fight goes on ....you can do your part by joining the Poker Players Alliance(and other Orginazations) and lend your voice in thier online petions ,Emailings and writeing your federal congress persons to voice your opinions with millions of other players.don't stand by and let the rest fight for you or let the Govt. decide to take it away completly.

I have used pre-paid MasterCard to deposit at Pokerstars and had no problems. I get them at the local gas station. I think they were called vanilla MasterCard whatever that means.

in my experience, here is what doesn't work:

Walgreens Prepaid Visas
Vanilla Visas
Walmart gray prepaid visas

Here is what works flawlessly for me.

All-access visas

go to allaccessgift.com to find a retailer with them for you. Most donot carry anything under $50, but some do carry $25 ones.

i couldn't get mine to work, i was pretty pissed that i paid 54 dollars for 50 dollars

I think the general rule is that cards you can get at supermarkets and Wal-Mart and chain drug stores and such do not work. These stores make sure that cards they sell are strict about avoiding gambling sites. But the kind of cards you get at gas stations and truck stops are more likely to work.

A few days ago I went to Circle K to get a Visa All Access Card and they only had one from the Gift Card Mall. I bought it anyway, and it worked. (Picture of it here)

After you activate your walmart card you have to wait for the card with your name on it (7-10 days) to come in the mail before you can use it on fulltilt poker. Since fulltilt's Bank is overseas, the limitations for the initial card prevent you from using it internationally. However like I said, you will have a card with your name and new activation number, after you activate the card with your name on it you can add funds to fulltilt within 1 hour.
