Up to date prepaid card thread I have some questions about prepaid cards I saw at Walgreens and whether they still work, and most of the threads on this are old. Do Visa gift2go cards still work? This is the only one I have gotten to work on FT in the past but it was almost a year ago. They are non-reloadable which generally works better for poker. See pic below. Also GreenDot cards, do they work? Some of them are labeled specifically for internet shopping. They are reloadable which is generally less likely to work for poker. This one I had never heard of, Visa Vanilla cards. Anyone try them? Finally AmEx and MasterCard non reloadable cards? I know Visa AllAccess was recently confirmed no longer working.

Success! The yellow one in my first post just worked on UB! Denied at FT, denied at Stars, denied at Bodog, but success on UB. It was just a little $30 guy for testing but now I can buy a bigger one.

All Acess Let me clarify... If you have a Netspend All Access or Premium account that is reloadable you also should have a virtual bank account and savings account with them... I have deposited on FullTilt with my Netspend Premium and All Access card using the QuickChecks... Look into it further... works for me no problem! Moe

i got this straight from the horses mouth so to speak...pokerstars deposit assistance people.. this is what they told me Dear Greg, It is a pleasure for us to assist you and to see that you wish to be informed before actually going to buy your gift card for a deposit with us. At this moment, there is only one prepaid card working for US players at PokerStars. The card available is the "Vanilla MasterCard" prepaid card which can be purchased at Walgreen's under the name of "Easy Bill Pay" (it has a big green $ on the front). Please make sure to get the Vanilla MasterCard because the Visa version will have restrictions against online gaming. It is loadable from $20 - $300 with a $4.95 fee charged by the issuer of the card, there are no fees at PokerStars. Please keep in mind that in order to use these cards for online purchases they require activation, which must be done at the store at the time of purchase. As we have no agreements with the financial institution that issues these cards, we cannot guarantee that they will continue working indefinitely. Such companies can implement restrictions for on-line gaming transactions without notice. We recommend that you contact us before purchasing this card in the future. If you use this type of card to make a deposit at PokerStars you will be able to withdraw funds through a Cashier's Check which will be sent according to your instructions. An alternate deposit method that you may want to consider is Western Union. Western Union is an international money transfer system. You may only send cash in amounts of $100 up to $1800 plus fees, this depending on how much money you wish to send. Payments will be processed between 9:30am and 11:30pm Eastern Time and take about 60 minutes to be credited to your account. Please note that you must use Western Union names only once, and it can be used up to 48 hours after you requested it. In order to make a deposit, please go to the PokerStars cashier, select the Western Union button, and click on "Instructions" for complete details. Additional information on other deposit options can be found at: http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/real-money/ For further deposit related assistance, send your phone number and appropriate time to call to dad@pokerstars.com. Thank you for choosing PokerStars. Regards, Dahlia M PokerStars Deposit Assistance Team

just wanted to update.. i made a successful deposit with my vanilla mastercard. i put $25 on it to see if it would actually work or not, and it did! i only loaded $24.94 onto pokerstars however as odd amounts will work better. i have seen poker sites pay me out in odd amounts as well, so it goes both ways...keeps the nosey feds away.

yes, I also have never had success with the vanilla cards. Previously, gift2go (yellow) worked for me at bodog, cake, etc. Recently the only site it has worked on for me was a merge skin (Nordica). I've had every card refused by 'Stars (can't play on 'Tilt...I closed my account there over year ago and those closures are for life). Have always used echecks for 'Stars and always great. Warned recently by my bank, so went out yesterday and opened a poker only account at small local bank (haven't tried it yet). As for these smaller sites (read cake), if they are not going to get echecks, than they really have to get more aggressive/creative with the pp cards. It's literally all that's left on those sites for U.S. I'm going to try echeck at the new bank soon and will be sending out some emails to sites about concerns. Still new here, great place...gl all

Green dot used to work. That's all I ever used, but I was informed today that "due to restrictions in my region" it would no longer work. So now, thanks to our lovely government bending us over and telling us how to spend the money we earn, I have to go about looking for another way. Thanks Big Brother... I'll make sure I vote for someone else. Effin' pricks!

It seems as though there is still no answer for fulltilt. All over fulltilt they advertise that players in the US can deposit with any visa debit card. But it seems like it has to be associated with a checking account. So the question is.. or questions are.. Is there a prepaid visa card that currently works with fulltilt? They know longer accept MC from US players. And I know the all access VISA card does not work anymore but you can do bill pay with online access to those cards websites (IE.. Netspend). The website provides you with a checking account number and routing number your card is linked to. I know Pokerstars stopped accepting All Access Visa cards but the Echeck option on Pokerstars accepted the funds from the checking account linked to my card. My 2nd question is, I recently bought a new card to use strictly for fulltilt. I went to load it using FT's echeck or quick payment option and it was refused or denied. This is a temporary card until NetSpend sends you a personalized card with your name, etc.. Does anyone know if Billpay does not work for all access card checking accounts until you receive your permanent card?
