UK Players- Maestro card users.

For those who use a Maestro Card only for online poker, this is an update of the top 20 online poker sites and their suitability to maestro card use. I have used Poker Scout to put the sites in order of popularity. What follows each site is:

1. If they accept maestro; Yes / No

2. The cashout procedure; EXCELLENT=they pay back within 2-4 days on the card / GOOD=they pay back on the card but it can sometimes take 5-7 days / CHEQUE=they send a cheque through the post / X=No Maestro Card option / ?=Don't know.

PADDY POWER (iPoker)----------YES---EXCELLENT---Very fast cashout. -One of the fastest. -Highly recommended.

CORAL (Ongame)----------------YES---EXCELLENT---Very fast cashout. -Software is a bit dull.

EVEREST------------------------NO----X------------No Maestro option. -Badly designed software. -I wouldn't even download this software for a peek.

ULTIMATE BET-------------------YES---CHEQUE-----The cheque arrived after about a week.

POKER HEAVEN (Boss)------------YES---EXCELLENT---Euros only so have your currency converter handy.

(Svenska Spel)-------------------?------?------------Swedish site using Boss software. -Probably very tough! One to avoid say I.

ABSOLUTE POKER----------------YES----CHEQUE-----Cheque arrived after about a week. -Site has a bad reputation.

WILLIAM HILL (Cryptological)-----YES----EXCELLENT--Very fast cashout. -Or print out a voucher and cashout at one of their shops! -Clerk has to make phone calls though.

LADBROKES----------------------YES----?------------Accepts maestro but personally I have not cashed out. (Blew bankroll on blackjack - Never again!!)

I hope this info helps all those with a maestro card and who are undecided about which site to go for. (No prizes for anyone who can figure out which ones I recommend.) Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated. In particular I would LOVE anyone who could:

A) Tell me how painless it was to get a cheque from Full Tilt Poker. (Obviously this only applies to maestro card users only.)

B) Tell me if they have actually been able to fund their 32Red or Gutshot account with a maestro card. Or, failing that, which site (using the microgaming network) actually has a maestro option that works.

C) Tell me if I am way off the mark with any of my comments.

Yes, I knew about this blip. But for everyday users, your money is still almost 100% safe with them.

The very fast cash out must be about the only good about William Hill, I think I only ever cashed out once and would never go back!

Thanks for the list I have a Maestro debit card so it maybe useful if I ever get sick of playing at Stars.
