But that stopped due to this: Players found a loop hole with FTP. Instant E-checks do not post until three days later. You can make a max $300 deposit per day (24hrs). So Say you have an active bank account. You deposit $300 into your FT account. The Following day you deposit $300 more and on the 3rd day you deposit another $300. But! You closed your bank account on the date of the 1st deposit. There were players who would make these deposits costing online poker sites money, and then proceeding to "Chip Dump" on a HU table to a friend. Who would then get the funds in a seeming legitimate way. And would be able to withdrawal funds. This is why you can no longer deposit with echecks. It is also why if you clean out a player on a heads up table you have to send an e-mail to FT about your "relationship with that player" They are really cracking down hard on this. This was occurring a few months back when FT was taking nearly an entire month almost to process withdrawals. But to get back on topic: So, you can still receive a withdrawal by check via snail mail but you do have to provide scanned copies of your ID and Credit Card you used to deposit. Sorry I should add an edit here: This deposit/withdrawal method was unavailable before I e-mailed FT to close my account. Last edited by Sean Pilgrim : 16th November 2009 at 7:09 PM. |
