Merge is a gaming company that hosts many different "skins" of the same traffic. Each skin such as Carbon poker Black chip poker Lock poker These are all Apart of MERGE however, they are run by different companies. Like subway. There are a ton of them, each 1 is actually owned by someone who bought the rights. But they all got the rights from the main subway corp. Hope this made sense

Very strange thing happened on Sunday, I tried depositing on Lock Poker and was denied. Then I got an email From Lock Poker saying that they had an alternate method of processing Visa through the Lock Casino that might work and I am allowed to transfer casino money to poker, so I go there and deposit and the Visa works without issue and then I transfer the money to Lock Poker and bingo I'm playing. So why the hell don't they just use the same visa processing for poker instead of making us jump through hoops???

re: Prepaid Visa on Merge poker A little disheartening reading this thread about using the Int'l Visa. Because some people say "sure, no problem worked great for me", then someone else says "tried that, didn't work for me". Makes ya think about just maybe sitting back and waiting till it all becomes legal. Then again, at 95 years old I wont be able to read the cards

Also a good tip if you want to deposit on a site. a lot of them also have casinos and have found it easier sometimes to deposit on the casino side than transfer to poker account. Paticullarly on the weekends when it seems it is harder to deposit.

Just a follow up on that Walmart Money card I ordered and said I would try. Well I did receive it a few days ago. But, after finding out about the new legislature just passed that will supposedly allow USA players to play online poker by mid 2012, I decided not to try it. Until then I'll play at Merge and see whats cookin by mid 2012. If it still looks bleak, I'll try it. BTW, if the card does work, the only down thing I see about it is that there is a $3.00 "BS" service charge every month regardless if you use it or not. Capitalism!
