Pokerstars Echeck problems again??? Has anyone else had a problem withdrawing via Pokerstars echecks lately? I received an email a few weeks ago that echecks were again available as a withdrawal method for US Players. I then proceeded to make a withdrawal, and the 10 business days passed without receiveing my funds. I contacted Pokerstars, and they said they are looking into it. I am extremely frustrated, they told me echeck withdrawals were working again and it appears otherwise.

| Stick to paper checks My frustration with Pokerstars is mounting daily over the eCheck withdrawals. Their customer no service department appears to be outsourced to a third party poker and their is no way to talk to a human via phone that I know of. I'm now at 17 days and still no money. Received my paper check withdrawal in 5 days. Read the email chain below from the bottom and you will see some of the frustration in dealing with the star's NO service department. Hello xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Thank you for your email. Please note that the echeck cashouts can take up to 10 business days (Monday-Friday) to be reflected in your Bank statement. However, we are aware that the processor have experienced a delay in transfer the funds. We are currently investigating with our processor the status of this transactions. As soon as we receive any updates, we will post it in our site immediately. Unfortunately, we are unable to reverse this transaction back to your PokerStars account as it's been transferred to the bank already. We apologize for the inconveniences you may experience for this delay. If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know. The last response was on Saturday and that I have been provided with the "most up-to-date information". What information? All I have received are requests to be patient. It is now approaching the end of the 11th business day since I attempted the cashout on Dec. 6. Can someone please provide me with an estimated time of when I might actually receive the funds? | Pokerstars E-check I am having the same problem withdrawing from Pokerstars with echeck. I did it on 12/16/2008 and I still haven't got money credited to my checking account. I am not playing with Pokerstars anymore until they straight this problem out!! And they seem to be consistently fast with withdrawing from my checking account.. |

Sorry i never gave anyone an update. Pokerstars eventually got back to be and said that they are indeed experiencing problems with echeck withdrawals. One of my withdrawals did eventually hit my bank account, after about 15 business days. Pokerstars gave me a 10% bonus with no cashout restrictions in my account as compensation, which i did not ask for. I am still waiting on another cashout via echecks, and they said that if the problem is not resolved with the echeck processor they will credit it back to my account and i will have to withdraw via paper chech. I will stick to paper checks for now on, they seem to work fine. I did not cash out via paper check last time because i was going on vacation.

re: Pokerstars Echeck problems again??? I cashed out on 12/15/2008. Up to date, I have not received anything from Pokerstars. Emailed twice, and they gave me the run-around BS. If anyone cash-out during that time frame, let me know if you have received your fund yet.

Same here, this is the email I got from them. TOTAL BS. WASTED 3 weeks, when they could just credit back to my account right away so i can cash out Via-check. Pissed off because i'll be in a different country for 2 weeks, and I won't be able to cash out e-check till I get back. Hello xxxxxxxxxx, This email is in regards to the following cashout request: Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxx Requested on: 15-Dec-08 Amount: $xxxx Further to the email that was sent on the 24th of December regarding e-Check cashouts, we regret to inform you that we have continued to experience difficulties processing some of these transactions. As a result of this and as a last measure, we have decided that the best course of action is to cancel these pending cashouts and place the funds back into your PokerStars account. This will allow you to request a new cashout via paper checks or other methods that will be processed within our usual time frames. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. Regards, PokerStars Payment Services

dang guppiesrus, so what is recomended? not to mess with pokerstars at all? or real paper check? or will the echecks work from time to time? im interested in starting a real account there, but should i just keep my money and run?? my worry of a real check would be that they are not "liable" for any lost checks...and i would cease to recieve that way either....please help, with advice or from anyone, thank you
