| I would love to think these were the rules rather than the exceptions. Alas, most sites require deposits before withdrawal. Part of the deposit first requirements make good sense. They will know who they are dealing with, and along with that comes ease of money movement either way. Unfortunately for us in the US, they made a law which no one can properly interpret, and has been deemed unenforceable and everyone is seemingly expected to follow this 'law (?)' on merit I guess. And it really only gums up that ease of money flow thing. They made no moral statement about the evils of poker, nor about the evils of gambling. The law only causes a major disruption in how and where money flows. Are you folks in the US? |

| Good job, I would say your a really good player or really lucky. Most sites programs are set up to not allow non-depositors to win. I have won on Pokerstars without depositing but wouldn't allow a withdraw. |

| yea i did the same thing on a bodog fr. i played a 30 pt fr and took 2nd for 75$ and cashed it out without ever depositing a dime on the site then or previous to that win. so some sites will let you do this while other sites will make you at least deposit the minimum on their site to take that off as well as the other money if you so choose to do so. anyway, gl and play on. |

| re: No deposit still able to withdraw? poker This blog provided greaat info. Thanks to everyone. My friend withdrew from Pokertime, so I can confirm that. I can also confirm that the money movement right now is all but impossible. I'm one of the many waiting on a check from Bodog. Does anyone believe that Bodog is in finantial trouble or is this just the money movement issue..... BTW, I am a US player. |

this one and the other wives tale there's more bad beats on _____ site than any other because they've got it programmed that way or the RNG is bad... both of these just piss me off, people whine too much about cards (everyone gets bad cards, takes bad beats, sometimes sucks out, occaisionally stays in when they probably should fold and sometimes folds when they should have called) it's the nature of the game and if every bad beat is going to make you emotional and irrational it's probably more than your fragile system can handle. |

No, I play on BYP in the many FR tourneys, and some ring games from time to time. Have about $35 BR there, and just playing with it. BYP seems like a cool bunch of people (even though there aren't that many.) Just curious... how did you find BYP? I am a member of PCP are you? |
