| news about US justice department funds seizures are making me worry about cashouts. I have written to pokerstars but received no answer. does anyone have any information. My Questions to pokerstars were in this letter: I am a longtime United States player and hope to continue to play at your great site. Hate to bother you but recent news about US justice department funds seizures are making me worry about cashouts. Are there any problems with cash out to United States players at the present time. If the justice department seizes funds or my bank refuses to accept a deposit can we be reasonable sure Poker Stars will make available alternate funds and or alternate methods of payment. I am just a retired disabled person who enjoys poker. Thanks for your views on this confusing situation. (seabottom). |

| No fresh news, but it happened to most of the sites serving the US. I myself had a check delivered which ended up bouncing, causing me all sorts of grief. Luckily (apparently) it was from FT and they posted an extra $100 to my account because of that seizure, and the associated penalties. |

| re: news about US justice department funds seizures are making me worry about cashouts. poker I had checks from UB and PS canceled and small amount added to those accounts for the trouble. I resubmitted cashout requests a week later, but has been almost two weeks and haven't received them yet (usually gets here in less than week). Think they are just really backed up from that time down (my PS check was pending for a week), and on top of that, probably have had more cashout requests from people who were worried. Hopefully things get back to normal processing time soon... Last edited by D'wilius : 22nd June 2009 at 11:56 PM. Reason: correcting timeframe |

In the case of the big 3 (Stars, FT, Cereus), I'm pretty sure they will find a way to get your money to you. |
