| How do u deposit/ withdraw? (US poker players) Okay I wanna start playing online poker but I'm so lost and have found it quiet hard to find all the information I need so please don't bash me, I'm just asking for help here. I heard online poker was illegal or banned? Then why can people still play? Second question is how do I deposit into say fulltilt poker? Before I heard E passorte but I recently heard that closed so am I doomed? And once u get money in, what's the best way to withdraw? I only see like 2 options on full tilt what do u use? Thanks a lot. |

| in regards to you're 2nd question... w/ full tilt i found it very easy to deposit (debit/credit card, minimum $50 with visa) with pokerstars however i had to buy an AllAccessGiftCard because my debit/credit wouldn't go through... now i know someone can help you with your first question. |

| First question = it is illegal for a poker site to operate in the U.S. I don't think that it is illegal for us to play (yet). Second = yes he is right, AllAccess Visa is the easiest, imo. |

If they ever catch you with multiple accounts, they are within their rights to seize your account. |

Also against the rules to have 2 accounts. You may also want to consider what would happen if you won a major tourney and got the award to play at say - WSOP. It 'could' happen, and it would NOT be you going to the event. If discovered, you may also have to forfeit the prize package. Wouldn't even qualify for 'bad beat' ... |

| re: How do u deposit/ withdraw? (US poker players) Also if both accounts have played from the same IP, they will surely catch that, and it will be considered multi-accounting. Better to try to get in on the times when they let existing accounts transfer to a rakeback account. |

| I dont play at full tilt, did for a short time after my old Doyles Room acct was transfered there. I have found their withdraw/deposit to be more restrictive than others. I prefer pokerstars and have found them to be the easiest to deal with. Good luck trying the brothers acct thing, I did open a separate acct for my wife to play on, but we had to request in advance that we be able to have a second acct at the same ip addy. Also, we cannot play at the same table to avoid appearance of conspiring. I dont even think we could log on from the same ip. |

Rakeback is nice, and it certainly adds to the bottom line, but it's a small portion of the amount that I win every month. I choose to play on sites based on the combination of the right mix of games that I can beat (along with an interface that I like). Rakeback isn't enough to make me play at a site that isn't profitable for me without it, especially if I don't like the layout or game selection. Pokerstars doesn't offer rakeback, but refusing to play there just because of that would be a bad business decision for me. You may want to step back and try to quantify how important the rakeback is to your overall profitability. |

FT does have a lot of players, but PS has even more. (Right now FT has 59642 people online, PS has 110680.) In my opinion, Pokerstars has a better selection of small buy-in tournaments that draw large fields (which means that they pay out more spots, have larger prize pools, and have many more weak players) compared with Full Tilt. I do like Full Tilt's larger guaranteed tournaments ($26 buy-in and up) though. Both sites have a good selection of ring games for Holdem, but I generally play other games if I want to sit at a ring table. I find that Pokerstars generally has a much better table selection in Stud and Omaha. |
