How to deposit money

Just a simple question how do i deposit money and from where onto pokerstars.net i have no checking account so i am wondering if there are any other ways?

Well, first of all you need to have pokerstars.com software if you want to play for real money. The (.net) software only allows for play money games. [At least this is how is was when I first started 2 years ago, it may have changed, but probably not since they can still advertise for pokerstars.net in the states]

Secondly, if you're from the states you're pretty much screwed at the moment for depositing. I believe western union still works, but that sounds like way to much of a hassle to me.

It depends on the state you live in. A lot of residents of certain states are not able to. I have heard that something called the ICE prepaid Visa works. Not sure myself, but it is discussed in this thread (one of the last posts):

so what way would you suggest i use to deposit money onto pokerstars? im in the usa north carolina i just wanna gamble lol

Try echeck. If that does not work either western union or a money order.

OK I get it now... lol
If you were being serious, echeck is not an option if you don't have a checking account. The other options would depend on where you live. If it is in the US western union or money order are I think your only options.

It should be an option in your cashier. But you have to download the .com version. If you still have .net, you cannot deposit real money. The .net version is strictly play money.

If you have the .com version downloaded, and eChecks is not an option in your cashier, you'll need to try something else. At that point, you can contact dad@pokerstars.com to help you figure out the best deposit option.

If you do have an eChecks option in your cashier, you will need your checking account info (account # and routing #), and your social security number.
