Full Tilt Checks

I cashed out $6,000 from Fulltilt and guess what... my bank tells me the checks are
NO GOOD..they are FAKE.
did I get BAD BEAT?...any thoughts or comments?

I just cashed a check from FT about 10 days ago $4000.00 and didnt have any trouble at all.And its been 10 days I would have known something by now.

yes why would someone send out a fake check when they could just not pay if that was the intention . ridiculous .

what had happened was I went to use my ATM card and it wouldn't work,so I went into my bank to make cash withdraw,so when I went to my Bank today,I was pulled into an office of someone high up in the bank..she told me that the checks I have are fake and that I will not be able to recieve those checks back either.

I emailed support and told them what is going on.

Hopefully something good will happen,I'll let you know after I findout anything.

just curious? are you banking at a high powered chain such as Bank of America, Chase or is it a smaller one?

ehhh. i think i have an eye deer. if this is one check, then the bank is flat out lieing to you because the truth is they may know or suspect its from a poker site or just be suspicious for any number of reason. i know of a member on another forum who was hassled by his bank and he also had a large check. the amount of the check is almost certainly the issue and the bank doesnt want to admit why they wont cash it as that would make them open to possible legal issues. i wanna say that under 5000, your safe from gettin flagged but dont quote me on that.ohh one other thing. never never tell them its from a poker site. that wont help a bit.

well this happened to me with 2 5k checks from PS, my bank held them thoguh until they cleared.....I tried to explain about the poker online and all and like mos tppl who know nothing about it, just think it's a sweepstakes scam or something and that I am just to stupid to realize it.....tell them to run the numbers through and pput it on a hold

Me and my girlfriend have cashed out numerous checks on full tilt and have never had any problems at all. In fact it was quite convenient. Like somebody said go to a local place like a walmart or a checksmart or a placel ike that. They usually have a place that will cash any check regardless of the distributor.

Many banks are either going under or being bought out right now. Sounds to me like someone in the bank re-deposited it to thier account cause they know their bank is goin under shortly. LMFAO. You been had dude.

Go to another bank as you know the check is good.

well that bank you are on you should sue them because they should be able to return you a certified copy of it with the stamp that said rejected or NO FUNDS or whatever so you can confirm to Full tilt it was fake and to resend you another one. ask full tilt to cancel the funds on the check they sent you and to resend another one, then you should just go to bank of america or one of the options the guys said above.

Man, I'd really hate to think that there are other poker sites dishonest enough to put someone up to this kind of libel. If so, it really makes you second guess putting your money into their accounts.

this guy is full of it...i've only seen 90,000 times..check limits 100 - 5,000 ...just double checked to make sure...so you couldnt get one for 6k

hence why he said checksss. plural. three different times he said "checks", never "check". he got two checks that added up to the sum of 6k because he recently had a big tournament score

happy to say I got my money from my bank today,kinda cool too because my birthday was yesturday ..anyway.. it had nothing to do with Fulltilts checks being bad,wrong,fake or wtf ever...it was my BANK (****ing liars) ...fulltilt was telling me the checks were good and I beleived them...then when my bank tells they are fake and that I would not be recieving my money and that the checks would be distroyed...I mean my mind was playing tricks on me..I was thinking maybe my checks were intercepted by Al Qaeda or maybe that Bitch at the bank was keeping my money because she was thinkng about having hot lesbian sex on top of her desk with the asian chic that works in the loan department..see what I mean..my mind was racing..but anyway..I got my money.

Wow...so what did you bank say to you when you got your money? I don't get it after all that hassle did you just drop it? I would be pretty pissed at my bank and tell them that I was moving banks unless I got something for my time and hassle....specially if you have banked with them for a decent amount of time.
