Wow, I'm impressed, just deposited with Echecks because Stars has a promo going, I can't believe how easy it was!!! Of course there is still time for a glitch, but the deposit was quick and easy and the money is in my Stars account. I'll update if anything goes wrong down the line.

I have been using this since August 09. I didn't have any issues, only used 3 times, quick and easy

I had few problems with e-check on the withdraw end on FTP. It was lost twice. To FTP credit they took care of it promptly. It's always amazing though, how easy it is to get the money in and all the hoops you jump through to get it out.

E-check is way to fly though. I didn't have that withdraw option on Poker Stars last week. Had to have a check mailed. With FTP it cycles to where you can use a bank transfer to withdraw and other times it's not available. Any one else notice that?

is there a fee for using echecks to withdraw and deposit in your account?

Never been charged a fee for a withdraw or deposit on PS, FTP or Carbon.

Can someone describe to me how the process of e-checks works?

Electronic bank transfer from a checking account. Provide the bank routing # and account #. Transfer it in and out. Everytime I have used it, a different name appears as the 2nd party. Think thats why it not available all the time. Just a guess though.
