E-Check Cashout from PokerStars

I spent a lot of time searching the internets looking for anything recent about the timeliness of e-check withdrawals on Stars, and only ever found either the deluge of issues they had back when they first implemented the system, or people whining that looked like isolated incidents.

So I am making this to inform people of a good experience, since no one often seems to mention when things work well. I wasn't in a rush to get the 600 back that I stuck into Stars to bonus whore, so I figured I'd try it.

Cashout request time: 2010/01/16 21:53 ET

Now first thing Tuesday morning it's hit my account as pending, which typically means it'll be cleared by the close of the business day. Deposit with e-checks, then use this. Even faster than checks, which is impressive since they have averaged 6 days for checks for me.

I cashed out some by e-check on Pokerstars on the 16th, it was in my account today... So yeah, Pokerstars does a good job of getting folks their money.

What does it cost? A couple of years ago I had a transfer into my account, the site didn't charge, but every bank the transaction went through charged me $20!! I ended up paying $60 for the money!!

E-checks are free, but take some time to clear. Wire transfers are instant and charge.

E-Check is great. I opened a free checking a couple years ago that I use for my online gambling. Have never had a problem have drawn money from Stars and my sports book. Transactions have taken 2 to 3 days to hit my account.

for a while was cashing out every sunday night and money was in by Tuesday morning(except for when there were holidays)

since its after June 1st and UIGEA is in full effect, just wanted to say i made a withdrawal from pokerstars on sunday night/morning and it was in my account wednesday morning. oh, and it didnt show up as Pokerstars.. it was another name which i will not mention here, because im paranoid

This was Last friday, when i requested my payout. Within 1hr of
the request i was sent the above email to me so it took a lil
less than 1hr for it to be approved.Today which is Tuesday 10/5/10 My payout
hit my checking account around noon time. So all in all it took 4 days, 2 of
them Saturday and Sunday None business days and Monday and tuesday
business days. So if you do an echeck payout it should hit your
account in 2 business days. Might vary depending on who you bank
with. Hope this helps all you fellow rounders out.

Good to see, I read that someone had requested a check and it bounced. So now other may not worry so much about their funds

Yea i used to cut checks back in the haydays when all this uigea bs went into effect and screwed up neteller. however since then echecks on ftp and pokerstars are pretty smooth. I have had one friend that got a check from pokerstars that bounced, but that was when the feds seized like 26milly in payouts last yr. Other than that Me myself personally i have never had checks bounce from pokerstars or ftp. Hope this helps out and good luck on the felt
