depositing on absolute poker

can someone tell me how usa players can deposit on absolute poker. prepaid visa does not work. is there a gift card that does work? please let me know, ty.

I believe when I deposited it was with a credit card, and someone called me to confirm.

all access gift visa card - don't use the reloadable one
they have a web site telling you where you can buy a card locally

talk to support and convince them to start useing Pic-club for us USA players ....much much easier to do than jumping thru hoops of fire to get money to and from Poker sites due to the UIGEA BS. otherwise get a pre-paid gift credit card that they accept...not sure how the site would process any winnings back to you tho.

Just wondering , why do you choose to deposit @absolute .. There is number of sites that is bigger / better!
Full tilt poker And pokerstars atm both got theyre big champion ships going on and are trying all they can to get pepole to play them by that giving out extra bonuses etc etc!
And wasnt absolute the site that was accused and convicted of having "super users" which could see other players cards!?

Whats the reason you choosing absolute , never checked them out :O

I just deposited recently at absolute. I was adamently opposed to it but they are the only poker site that allows US players and has a no-install option to play. I used an e-check 3 times and it worked fine.

They are not the only site to allow US players. There are several more. Check out this link for just a few: http://www.cardschat.com/us-poker-sites.php, Poker Stars being the best, imo.

You misread his reason. He doesn't want to install software (maybe playing on a mobile device or netbook or something?).

Bwin Poker, Pacific Poker, and Absolute Poker are the three I know of that have a *no install* option to play.
Bwin Poker and Pacific Poker do not allow U.S. players.

Hence, that only leaves him with Absolute Poker as the only U.S. site that doesn't make you install software to play. Instead of using their installed software, you're basically playing in your web browser via Java. A friend of mine does this on his Linux machine.

That's a good enough reason to play there I guess.

Work computer. My mobo is fried so I can only play on my work laptop. Nice for business trips, allows me to play at the airport and hotel.
