| Deposit methods for full tilt (from Australia) I've got a deposit that I'm trying to get cleared at the moment which is driving me insane. I keep seeing "all access credit cards" mentioned on this forum, but as I've never seen or heard of them I take it we don't have them in Australia. Is there an easy way to deposit there? In case anyone has any suggestions, here's the cause of my headaches: I tried credit card but it wasn't accepted and I've now sent a deposit via local bank transfer which means I send it to a local bank account and full tilt credits my account instantly without me having to wait for the money to transfer overseas... however the "instant" thing is kind of questionable at this point. - On the fulltilt website it says it may take 1-3 days, but that is to allow for the time to transfer from my bank to their local bank account, it specifically says several times that once their account has received the funds it is "instant". My bank says it was succesfully transfered and I still have no money on full tilt. Has been 7 hours since the transfer was made, not quite "instant". And yes all of the bank transfer details were correct (including a reference number), I've checked them a dozen times. I also emailed full tilt's deposits department a few hours ago and no response. This "easy depositing" stuff seems to be a bad joke. Any suggestions? |

| Hi thepokerkid123, I'm an Aussie also and I use the POLI deposit method, I am sure that it is made specifically for Aussies, and all deposits are available instantly the minute they go through. You have to let it add software to your PC but it is safe to do it, on some sites you may see POLI by Moneybookers, that is almost the same but you must have a Moneybookers account first. I use a Visa Debit card also as another way to deposit but some of our banks charge a monthly fee for that account. Fortunatly I have never made a deposit at Full Tilt so I can't be 100% sure of how quick they are but all other sites I use POLI or Visa at, the deposits are instant. I just went to Full Tilt and went as far as I could without making a deposit and all seemed to be like I said above. If your with National Australia Bank you won't have a problem. My Missus has a Westpac account and If I send cash over the internet to her account it is instant, but if she sends cash via the internet to my account, that usually takes a full day or somethimes 2 full days before I see it in my account. Good luck, POLI is the way to go. I am with the National Australia Bank and my deposits are always instant. Last edited by Zorba : 14th January 2010 at 8:43 AM. |
