One thing we know for sure Carbon doesn't like winning players, after all if know one wins, Carbon wins in the form of rake from everyone. They have changed their cash out policy to one free cash out a year and then 3% fee for every cash out after that.

Its great to see players who are actually withdrawing money from Carbon!

Wow, all I've done at Carbon is deposit and never saw them back.

This is good to know that there's 3% fee for every cash out after the first free cash out per year.

As they say, the house always wins. lol

GRRRRRRR!! Well that sucks! Just another (bad) change to the way they do things. In the long run, a 3% fee isn't that much, compared to say, juicy stakes, that charges $100 fee per cashout! Or sites like FullFlush, where (as a U.S. player) you will be forced to use Western Union to withdrawal, and will incur a fee of at least $30, per withdrawal. Seems to me like Carbon is doing anything, and everything in their power to cut costs/ line their wallets. Makes me wish I had done a cashout in the last two weeks like I had planned... That way I would still have my one free cashout a year to use... comical.

I still see "Your first Check withdrawal request made each month will be FREE."

What's your source?

Multiple people in this thread have verified this. I guess it may only pertain to the big winners, it really hasn't been clarified in depth. Carbon likes to make drastic changes without telling anyone, so it may take a major update for it to go into effect for everyone. My guess if you never have cashed out this month or never you may not see the change.

3% actually isn't bad for a US-facing site, considering that some don't give any free withdrawals and charge a fixed $50 for every check, no matter how small the withdrawal.

Just another blow from Carbon. I haven't been able to play much the last couple months but had just started playing on Bovada more. Carbon was my #1 site, but now it will be Bovada. I don't believe in getting charged to access my own money. Does anyone know if we already have made withdrawals this year if we will get one last free one, or will we really have to wait until January?

everyone likes free check process fee.
think 3% is acceptable.
Think when you want to sold some used stuff through paypal, it charged you about 3.3%? ....looks like there is some online site greedy than Carbon :D[at least paypal is on the list]

if carbon has wire option, looks like second time I would choose wire transfer.
Wire
cos the same process fee but faster.:D
sometimes need extra 2 weeks to clear a check.

PS: do hope Carbon process cashout faster and clear potential checks faster....because process fee charged...therefore...it is fair player have better services!

3% on $100 = $3.00
3% on $1000 = $30.00
3% on max (2500) = $75

So better for small withdrawls than before but worse for larger withdrawls?

Also is the free once a year.... in response to other sites like Bovada offering free withdrawls on a periodic basis?

Carbon doesnt accept hungarian players anymore so it doesnt affect me.
But BWIN-party poker does the same. They take 3% at withdrawals too. So I havent deposited there since then. I dont want to lose 3 dollar immediatelly when I deposit 100...
I think it's a bad policy. On long term it will do harm for these rooms since fewer and fewer ppl will deposit and play there.
