Bodog payout

WOW......I finally rcvd my fedex tracking number for my four figure Bodog payout. it was supposed to take 40 business days but it only took 34 biz days. 34 biz days really sucks. It takes something away from the game. I long for the good ol' cash games of my youth where , when you won, you could sock a little away and have a fun week with the rest. I really miss the immediacy of getting paid on the spot. Even with the faster payouts of PS and FT, I like getting paid NOW. Sometimes halfway thru a tourney I get bored(knowing even if I place 1st I wont get paid for a week) and purposely take longshots. I know I wouldn't make these donkey moves if there was a more immediate payout. Thanx for letting me rant.

Bodog must be slow I play at Ultimatebet and they pay fairly quickly. When I withdraw by fedex I usually get the check the next day usually. I hear you about getting paid now cause its almost like fake money online. Where all you see are these numbers and not these dollars.

They are pretty slow all the time. Offered a debit card option once upon a time, but the day I received mine, was the day I got an email telling me that they were discontinuing the program. Seems like as soon as they figure out a way to pay out quickly, someone gets it shut down.

Try the moneygram thru bodog. You have to deposit thru moneygram to withdraw but it only takes 4 to 5 business days to receive money.

I agree mail or courier is rediculously slow at bodog.

Why does it take so long? Is this just a problem concerning US citizens? I have won some dollars at freerolls and would like to cash the money out by Moneybookers transfer.

Oddly enough, a $300 payout I requested in August took over two months. But a two million dollar withdrawal I requested in October took just three days. Go figure.

I know a guy who plays cash there regularly and cashes out several times a month. Although he has fees the checks usually make it to him minimum 3 weeks and maximum of 6 weeks. I don't know if this will change with the new cash out rules. The US government froze 24 million dollars of Bodog money in US bank accounts at three or four banks including Bank of America, Sun Bank and Wachovia. The problem is not with the funds Bodog holds but the lack of a payment processor which enables them to get the funds to the players. If Bodog drops the sportsbook, then they will probably fold the Poker Room as well. They don't fill the big tourneys and have losses on their buyins. The ring game activity above 2NL is slow.

FWIW, I got a check via FedEx today from Bodog. Took approximately 36 days from the time I requested funds. Actually it got here Friday but they require a signature before they'll leave it at your door. Hope this helps.....

Start the clock. I requested payout on November 3. Had to do verification process and was notified my payout was "processed" on November 6. They said about 20 business days. I said that's faster than what I'd been hearing, and they told me they're having some success in improving payout times.

My friend just got a payout and it took three weeks. Said the check looked weird.

Don't stick your question in the middle of a Bodog Payout thread. Do a search for threads on tournament strategy. Check the Golden Archives. Read the Strategy Articles. Post the question or start a thread in the appropriate message board.

Best advice for freerolls: don't play them. They will screw up your game.

My check just came by Fed Ex. It took 13 actual days, which is only 9 business days. It came from a Canadian bank in Montreal. It's actually slightly higher than my request due to fluctuating exchange rates.

Aren't you paying attention?

The trend is towards improvement. Why even have a thread if you're just going to reply to the original post without seeing how the subject develops?

re: Bodog payout poker

to all poker players. i cant believe most players do not figure the cost to play on mostpoker sites. three percent to buy in. eight dollors to fifty dollors by fed ex. eight dollors is by paper check. bo dog took over fourty day to get my check. five percent vig. total these up see how much it cost to play. win or lose if you play small games you are going to have a problem making money. beware of what you do unles you are wealthy.

With me, i had kind of an issue with bodog's payout. It took about 5 months instead of the either one or two weeks they said. It was only after constant emails that i finally got it.

I just requested a withdrawl. It was approved in about an hour. It's only fourty bucks and the only option I saw for payment was check by mail. It said it would take between 12 and 15 buisness days.

Of course I've never deposited there so maybe thats why there were less options for withdrawing moneys.

I'll post when I see it and tell you how long it took.

re: Bodog payout poker

My recent Bodog withdrawal took 9 business days, 13 actual days.

It cost NOTHING. Those of you who are saying they charge for a check are spreading misinformation. Bodog's policy is clearly spelled out on their website. The first check each month is free but there is a charge for a second check in a given month. Just time your withdrawals and it's free.

Carbon says they take $15 out of your check as a processing fee, but happily they charged nothing on my withdrawal.

And online poker is a cheap deal. Somebody complaining about a 3% buy-in fee? Do you mean rake? The rake on most sites is actually 5%. Compare that to the 10% rake charged at most casinos and online poker is a great deal.

There is getting to be more opinion than fact on this forum. It's sad. People ask for information or advice and they get all this bogus stuff.
