i'm locked out there and support won't even discuss it until i send id,driving licence etc. the only site i have come across with no phone support. some technology seems to have passed them by.

Seriously though, were you trying to make a withdrawal by check? If so, it's pretty standard for a site to ask for proof of identity. It's for you protection.

I know it's standard practce now to look for comprehensive id and if I had broadband it wouldn't be a problem, but try and send id on dial-up and it just takes too long. I am in an area where even wireless broadband from 02 or vodafone won't work.Best I get is two bars on vodafone in one room in my house.

Betonbet is different because they have no telephone contact with their customers. I am unsure how much is in my account and am reluctant to go to the considerable trouble of photocopying these security items and then posting/faxing them to betonbet for what might be a few cents.
