Bank Wire Withdrawal?

Hey everyone,

I recently contacted Pokerstars and inquired about what methods are available to US players to withdraw. I am concerned following the recent action to freeze payment processors etc. I was told that US players can still withdraw via echecks, paper checks, and a bank wire if the withdrawal is at least $1,000.

So... I refuse to withdraw via echecks, as i have had numerous problems with this. Usually paper checks work well, but i will be going away for 4 months soon.

Has anyone ever withdrawn via bank wire? It sounds nice and quick, but i have doubts how they would be able to do this with all the US regulation on the banks?
