Age verification after a large online win?

I was wondering if you have to send them your drivers license or anything if you win a big tournament like the sunday million or somthing or do they just throw 200+ thousand into your account?

I am pretty sure it will go to your account, but you will probably need to verify your account when you cash out.
I actually just had to verify my account for them to put $5 bucks in I won from the pso league events.

They require poof of who you are if you want to cash out. I hope you win Good luck

If you win big at pokerstars, they usually hold your money for one to two weeks, just as a safety precaution.

I dont know about the age verification, but I know that there are some players who have been found beeing underage.

I know that the Australian player, James Obst, a.k.a. Andy McLeod had won several 100k on pokerstars, and then they found out he was only 17 years old.
They locked his account with all the money in it, and then it got unlocked on his 18th birthday.

yes u have to giveup what everthey want, they want to protect the site and otherplayers, but if they don't have to fund ur big win they are very happy. most players who win big tournys have allready done a verification, because they are making withdrawls on a regular basis.

Look I'll answer this Question when Later this year I take down the Sunday Million, and Sunday Warm-up on the same day don't worry ...

Really though I'd think you'd have to verify who you are, yet I mean Really who gives a damn what they ask As long as you get your money correct (I'd Give PS my DNA if they'd ask for it only to get my 340+k Sent to me in a day or two)

One wouldn't hesitate to render verification from a host site if they're withholding thousands of dollars you won. Send in whatever they request to get paid. If your under age, oh well your gonna have to wait it out.
