Hello all. I was wondering if any of you guys have ever cashed out on a poker site for $3000 or more? I currently play on carbon and are a little worried about playing on the big tournaments. What is the point of winning 15,000 in a MTT if I can't cash it out. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables.

If there was no problem in depositing, then no problem in withdrawing.

Our rather problem is how to win those big tournaments. :).

The max cashout at Bovada is $3K. You can make a max cashout once per week. One cashout per calendar month is free, with each additional cashout each calendar month costing $50.

If you were to win $18K in a tournament, you could cash the $18K out in 6 months at no charge. Or you could cash out $12K in one month, but it would cost you $150.

You have to see your coutry and bank taxes. Here in portugal if we cashout 5000$ that's ok, if we cashout more we have to pay a tax. But if we use paypal we don't have limit to cashout.

if you are in pokerstars they have a limit per week.
If my memory is right is 2k per week, then i asked to higher my limit and they gave me 2k more instantly.

so it's very easy to negociate, don't worry, focus on getting that high score :D

once, few years back, basically just started playing and made about $9400 in a tournament at Stars....
I immediately withdrew $6000 or $7000 (don't remember exactly), and although I was just playing there for about 2 months I got it in my bank account within 3 days.
If I remember well tho, I had to send them a prove of my identity (copy of identitycard and a utility-bill) when I requested the withdraw.
But, as said, that's a few years ago, so don't know how it works now.

Tho, about a year ago I did a withdrawal of $1400 and lately one of $220...
Both times, again, the money was in my bankaccount within 3 days.

True !!!

You can withdraw money in small amounts to avoid problems in the bank and tax , within a month, you can do it easily , cashout 16k..

It remains only to win big money :)

I find they take your money easy but make you jump through hoops to withdraw. IE making me provide my identity for money I won but not if someone stole my banking information and is sucking it dry from online poker. But once you do provide all information then they do allow you to withdraw. Poof within a few days its in your account.

But I dont know what it look like if you want to cash out a sunday million win... Taxes etc. ? That would be interesting
Anyone knows that?

There is a member of this site that took home 156k (Maybe more), He'd be the best person to question in that regards. Just look in the big winners section of the forum
