Some helpful codec resources
I've noticed a lot of people have trouble with the videos, namely stuff that relates to codecs.
First off, if you see the video with inverted colours, no audio, combinations of the two or if the video doesn't even play at all, try this: VLC media player - Overview If that doesn't work, you may not have the proper codecs installed in either media player. Download them here: Download Video Codecs And if that still doesn't work, the video might have been compressed using a different codec (don't worry, this is mostly jibberish to me too), but you can find out which codec the video was encoded with, and thus which codec you need to download, from one of these two programs: AVIcodec, a free multimedia file analyzer GSpot Codec Information Appliance |
