OK due to that rapturous response, here it is:
PLO25 Video (147 MB) I'm quite pleased how this video has turned out. I played pretty well and there are a number of tricky spots and laydowns. Let me know what you think, and feel free to discuss any hands in this forum (start a new thread and include hand details). I'll go into more detail of my thoughts and things I took into account. Watching the video again, I spot a number of mistakes I made in my play. See if you can identify them and post what you think they are. |

Weee, coolness.
Unfortunately I've just destroyed my MU download limit and can't download this for about 368 minutes, but I'll most likely watch it tomorrow and give my horribly ill-informed opinion then! |

Very cool Blackjack, I'll check it out. Are you much into PLO8 as well? I'd love to see a video on that too, as I think the game is terribly fun and profitable but I could probably use some education on some points

I will deffo be downloading this. I love having a shot at PLO, but I'll have to wait a while after downloading DB's video b4 using MU. My son is going of his head coz he was in the process of d/l something as well and he's not very impressed

I've been playing much more PLO high recently however. It seems to be skyrocketing in popuarity, and I think it's going to become a lot better known. It probably doesn't have the same TV appeal as NLHE because Omaha tournaments are even more of a crapshoot than Hold'em ones. But especially as a cash game, I think more people will play it as the hold'em games get tougher. |

Hey Bombjack,
Nice vid. Just a couple of points I wanted to get into. There's a hand where you pick up Ad Kx 3d 4d. In the hand you turn the nuts, but check it. I think this is a clear bet here. Villain pots the flop on a drawy board, which will be a set a fair amount of the time. I think this must be bet for value against a possible river that pairs the board. Agree? Also, you pick up a hand with As Ks 5h 6h. This is a nice hand but I don't like the PF raise. My thinking is this: You're really looking for a big draw on the flop. If you flop the spade flush the hand is pretty much done. So I think raising for value is wrong because the hands value is in the draw ability. So for me a flat call is better because you keep players in and commit less to the pot initially. Agree? Nice to see PLO getting a bit more airtime too. Cheers |

Being last to act will allow you to get better value from your good hands as well. |
