Thanks chuck. I will look at it later, I am about to watch a movie with my family.
fyi the 93 suited limp was a misclick along with the A7 call on the flop after a min bet

I've seen you play dude....you are not bad. just need more hands under the belt to get experience. Sounds like you have a great mentor in Chuck T as well. Dont know fer sure cuz Chuck mainly plays NL cash if I'm not mistaken? Good luck and hopefully u play some of the CC MTT games.

Ok, I viewed the first part, unfortunately it is time for bed.
Some comments I have:
1) I did not even realize how much I open limp. I will need to put a reminder on the top of my computer "pump it or dump it". I was actually happy when you said open limping in early position with drawing hands is ok, because I knew that I was going to limp before you played it out, and was fearing a little comment telling me not to :-D
2)I am glad my folds are mostly standard, and I agree with you on that.
3) The AK situation where I did not make a continuation bet was tricky. I realized it was the player that I felted when I hit my runner runner quads. I figured he would bet any flop if I checked to him, so I checked the best flop I could get, and for some reason did not c/r, but instead, c/c.
4) I have just recently made the transfer over from SNGs to NL ring, and what you pointed out about the size of the continuation bets really made a difference in my game when I realized that I need to make them larger. I used to play NL ring like MTTs and SNGs, and only betting about half the pot, hardly getting anyone to respect those c-bets.
Thanks for the analysis of part 1, I will resume watching the video when I wake up tomorrow.

Nice Chuck.

Raising pretty much all pairs from pretty much any position works fine at lower levels too; as long as the table recognises the strength that a c-bet represents if you c-bet as you would if you had done so with big cards on a missed flop.

But it doesn't work the same at games where they'll call with any suited cards or worse and then call flop bets with gut shots. But then, c-betting with standard hands doesn't work there either.

Thanks Chuck. Just finished watching the video.
Pretty much the same stuff for all 4 parts. I was glad you liked the float until my weak little 75c bet on the turn. I put my opponent on complete air, and that's what he had, just not the right kind of air I was hoping for.
This helped out tremendously, and maybe I can send you my next 200 hands to see if there were any improvements/more things for me to work on. By the summer I want to be able to get to 50NL, but that is a long way to go with my level of play and my bankroll only being ~$230. I really should be taking one step at a time.
Thank you so much!

just watched this, and i found it very educational. thanks, chuck
obv wouldn't be of much use to someone at much higher levels, but for those of us who still rely on freerolls to significantly increase our bankrolls, this is invaluable.

Glad you guys liked it. I'm always happy to help someone and give them my opinion, but I'll be pretty busy in the near future so I'm not sure I'll have time to do these too frequently.

The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable.

Nevermind, it fixed itself.

So I just finished watching it and I think Chuck gave a pretty good analysis of your play but there is one thing I wanted to comment on. Your table selection seems pretty much awful. Every table you played at had like 5+ short stacks and none of them seemed very loose at all. When I am looking for tables I'm looking for ones with high VPIP and larger pots. When I look at the list of players I generally don't want to have more than 3 short stacks because really you're not going to win very much off of them. Maybe I'm wrong, but I never really noticed a big fish at any of your tables. When I'm playing it's not hard to find myself 9 tables that all have a couple of fish playing at them. I'm pretty sure you were playing on Full Tilt, and I'm on Stars and there might be some difference but I don't think it could be that big.

To be honest SeanyJ, I ususally use tableratings.com to select tables, but all the tables they suggest already have people lined up to play. Normally I select tables like that like you said, but that day I just opened the 4 available tables, as there were only about 8 to choose from, and 3 of them were shorthanded at the time.

Waiting lists are your friend. Even if you have to wait 5-10 minutes to get to all the tables you want, it's worth it for the increase in profit.

lol at the house foundation analogy though. Spent so much time trying to explain it and justify using the analogy

ok, half an hour in, Q9 on an A96 flop. Minbet flop, check turn, and minbet river. River he's getting 7:1 with 3rd pair. I think he's bluffing more than enough to call this. RB has shown weakness with flat calling a min-bet, checking the turn, and checking the river as well after the turn check. A lot of the time I see this it's a low pocket pair. Although I agree the majority of the time we're beat, I think we're ahead more than 1 every 8 hands and can thus call the minbet profitably on the river.
