.5/1 FL session, no audio

mic is broken (again ) so no rambling from me this time.

Ran very well, had a few interesting hands but nothing crazy. As usual, all input/criticism and laughing at my play is welcome.

You're playing minbet now ? I'm thinking about mixing it up with 25nl 6-max once a in while for a change (since, frankly, stacking donks at 25 can be boring as all hell) and I like FL better, altough my game is by far mroe horrible than my shorthanded NL. I've tried a few hands of .5/1 and so far, the level of play doesn't seem to be to tough. Sure, you get some good (or very good) players from time to time, but they're easy to spot and it's easy to ge tout of their way.

I just forgot how much variance prone 6max FL is though. Last time I played, I went on a 50BB downswing before raking in a nice 25BB profit for the session (about 500-600 hands).

I'll look at your video and comment today probably.

Thanks jeffred. I'd forgot about this vid, actually.

.5/1 is a fish tank, man. I'm a real noob to FL, but all I did was read SSH, apply it's concepts, and with my experience in other games I'm winning like %75 of my sessions. It's eeeasy money and I'm really getting drawn towards it as opposed to NL rings.

Wow! I actually loved SSH. I might have to try FL again. I could use some "easy money".

BTW Chuck, my A.D.D. won't let me concentrate on videos without sound. So I had to skip this one. LOL. But I watched your other recent one with sound. Have you seen my comments in its thread?

lol that's fine, Stick. My mic is broken so I won't be able to make any with audio for some time.

Yeah, I did and thanks for the respones, Stick. I've been somewhat busy lately (especially back when that vid came out) and didn't really get around to replying to them. I'll do that when I get back from class tonight.

It took me awhile to figure out that you're switching between tables.

Three comments so far:

1. 76o is a stealing hand for me from the SB, but I wouldn't hassle anyone for folding it.

2. You check A2o in the BB with four limpers, so the flop is five-handed and unraised. You flop trip deuces. Don't check this flop; people want to call and betting the trips is a hell of a disguised move.

3. Next hand, you call 74s in the SB after two limpers, which I don't have a problem with. But then the flop comes J-9-7, which gives you third pair and a backdoor flush draw, BB checks the flop, UTG+1 bets, and the button calls... And you fold, getting almost 6:1. While all five of our your 2-pair/trip outs won't be live, your also have ~1 out as a backdoor flush and sometimes - rarely - you have the best hand right now (case in point, but results-oriented: You actually did). With pot odds like that, you should peel. The times you hit two pair/trips on the turn, you will very often be able to checkraise the field, so your implied odds are good.

Now I must sleep, but I'll try to finish watching this tomorrow.

Thanks for the input FP.

You sure I checked the trips there with A2 and you aren't getting mixed up with the 2nd table? I rarely slowplay....maybe I was going for a ch-r, who knows. Re-downloading cause I'm curious

edit: you were right
