Really great interview and the old guy mock shooting himself is ****ing hysterical yet sad. The fact that no one moved makes me wonder if he'd pulled that stunt before.

In case Tommy stops by to check the thread out, I'd like to know a bit about Kay too. To be married to someone who plays/coaches poker but doesn't play herself, I'm guessing maybe a background in psychology, or education?

Good guess. She did major in psychology, and most of her career has been in sales. We spotted the many similarities in our "jobs" right away. Massive swings that aren't necessarily related to performance. Getting crushed and dusting off and going back at it. Short, medium, and long-range strategic planning. Freedom to just go find a new game if we don't like the one we're in. When we met, she knew nothing about poker and I knew almost nothing about sales. Turns out we did know a lot about both trades. We just didn't know it.

Firstly thanks for doing the interview for us and secondly i really enjoyed reading it

I feel you play with a smile and so the meditation must really help in keeping the inner calm working when even the Poker Gods are at work

It was a great interview imo and having Tommy Angelo sign-up because of it (even if it's just for review purposes) is pretty cool. Maybe if given the opportunity we could do an add-on session of questions.

Thanks for the interview. The whole meditation thing is interesting, when I'm done concentrating on poker, I'll go check out the website.

They obviously had to be in a private poker club for there to any1 allowed w/ guns LOL that was a good 1 though...
