I have not played in very many sit n gos, and I was wondering if there were some people here that could give me some useful info that I might not know or have. I would welcome any thoughts. thanks.

Well what is there that you dont understand? A SAG is merely a smaller MTT, so same basic rules apply. You probably want to play tight early, loosening up as the blinds raise (though not always, sometimes you can justify playing lots of hands early when they are cheap - though that is probably a bit more advanced if you are new). Start with strong starting hands, monsters UTG, decent hands in middle position and you can open your range completely from the button. Are you trying to play STT or 180 man or what? That would help to know... Hard to answer, but there are some good Ebooks and strategy guides on the internet specifially for SAGs. Also there are some decent software out there that are specific to find leaks in your SAG game.
Edit: This is a search engine that only goes through the bigger poker sites, it can be useful instead of trying to sort through all of the google requests. |
